I am a seasoned graphic designer with seven years of industry experience. My design history spans work in publication, retail and digital design.
Over the years I have honed a diverse skillset that encompasses design, art direction, and retouching. From developing visually captivating layouts for publications to creating compelling digital designs, I thrive in bringing ideas to life through my creative expertise. In-house Designer
Flooring Xtra Support Office
August 2022 — July 2023
In August 2022 I took on a maternity cover contract role finishing July this year. As in-house designer at Flooring Xtra I acted as brand guardian over all brand identity, marketing material and assets. My role included crafting engaging content to bolster our marketing initiatives across catalogues, EDM, social posts, in-store marketing materials, print and digital marketing. I worked closely with the Marketing Manager and Digital Marketing Manager to support projects being rolled out in stores nationwide.
Art Director
DISH Magazine, SCG
July 2020 — July 2022
As art director for DISH magazine I had sole responsibility for the DISH look and feel, opting for a sleek yet ‘fun’ aesthetic. This role included consulting with the editor/creative director, advertising and digital teams.
I designed and art directed the first DISH cookbooks, Fast and Summer.
In this time I also implemented the DISH website redesign during this period. From end of February 2022 I also took over as the design lead for Good magazine. I was also involved with many internal SCG projects, including web mock-ups, branding, retouching and creating visual aids for client pitches.
Intermediate Designer

November 2018 — July 2020
When intermediate designer I was tasked with taking over as the lead designer on multiple titles - New Zealand Weddings and Honeymoons,
and New Zealand Marketing, while working as a contributing designer for business titles NZ Retail and Idealog. For New Zealand Weddings I took over an art director role as well as a pseudo client management role, liaising with the editors who had bought the title from SCG Media.
Junior Designer

July 2016 — November 2018
As junior designer I assisted the art directors on various women’s lifestyle titles New Zealand Weddings, Little Treasures and Good magazine. On top of this I was involved with internal and agency jobs for ICG (now SCG), including content marketing titles Living Well, Habitat and Toast by Liquorland magazines. This role included prepping files for print, consulting with pre-press, retouching, designing end of issue marketing collateral, advertorials and some video editing.
